This is most of my photography gear. The body, objectives and strobes are all Canon, as they produce the best quality and actually make sense to me. Nikon is good too1, but I get confused by their stuff all the time.

Digital gear
- Canon EOS 7D, at this moment the best APS-C camera Canon has to offer.
- Canon EOS 350D, a versatile digital SLR camera that I use as a backup.
Canon 10-22mm F/3.5-4.5 USM, a super wide-angle lens. This is the most extreme lens I've got, as it has the strongest perspective distortion I've ever seen.
Canon 17-55 mm F/2.8 IS USM, a really wicked wide to medium angle zoom lens. The large aperture allows for shallow depth of field and with the image stabilizer you can make crispy photos in dark situations or in other vibrating situations (like riding an elephant).
Canon 60mm F/2.8 USM Macro, a great macro lens, and Canon's only macro with EF-S fitting. Because of the EF-S, it can be smaller, lighter than its EF siblings and still stay fast. I'm having great fun with this one.
Canon 85mm F/1.8 USM, my fastest lens. Excellent for portraits, and also very versatile in low-light situations.
Canon 70-300 F/4-5.6 IS USM, a lovely telezoom lens. The 300 mm allows me to photograph people without them noticing, and the image stabilizer allows me to zoom to 300mm and still get a sharp image - even hand-held. Great for performance shots.
Canon Speedlite 580EX II and 2x 430EX flashes. The combination of three flashes gives me complete, wireless control over the lighting.
