Andy's Powah Switch

Schematic

The schematic consists of two switches, one for the power output and one to short the inputs. The latter is useful to see or configure the PSU’s current limit.

The LM317 regulates the variable input voltage down to 4V, which drives the LED. At lower input voltages the LED starts to dim a bit, and turns off at around 2.5V.

Enclosure

The enclosure is meant to be laser cut. There are two files available:

• enclosure.blend: the blend file used to design the enclosure, and
• enclosure.svg: the SVG file that was sent to the laser cutter.

The SVG file was of course created with Flatterer. The font is Dyer Arts and Crafts.
